Dear Friends, It is with a heavy heart that we announce Sprockets Music Video Competition and Show will not be a part of the 2009 AthFest Music & Arts Festival. Future of Sprockets - It is our hope that in the upcoming year we will be able to rethink and restructure Sprockets in such a way that it can continue to be an annual Athens event. Part of this will include looking for a business to partner with as a "presenting" company that will assist us with the business and accounting operations. We will also be seeking out a long-term staff to assist in all areas of festival production including planning, marketing, fundraising and video editing. If you have an interest in being a part of the staff or if you are know of a company who would like to partner up with Sprockets - please contact us. "Best of" Sprockets DVD - We are about 1/3 of the way towards having the funds to produce the "Best Of" dvd. We will continue to raise money for what is bound to be a great tribute to the talent of the Athens area filmmakers. We are so grateful to all of the directors, bands, sponsors, judges, volunteers, venues and friends who have been a part of Sprockets the last 5 years. We will see you soon!
